QuoteAmigo is the entity responsible for the QuoteAmigo website and the QuoteAmigo contractor workflow. This policy applies when you use our website, communicate with QuoteAmigo through WhatsApp, create or manage a quote, schedule an appointment, send a payment request, or use another QuoteAmigo service.
Information We Collect
We may collect the information you provide, including your name, mobile number, trade, service area, account details, customer contact information, property address, job description, measurements or corrections, prices, quote details, appointment details, payment-request details, reminders, support requests, and the messages, files, or images you send to QuoteAmigo.
We may also collect message and account metadata, consent records, delivery and interaction status, IP address, browser or device information, cookies, approximate location derived from an address or IP address, referral information, and security or diagnostic logs.
Property And Measurement Information
When you provide an address, QuoteAmigo may obtain information from public property records, appraisal-district or assessor sources, address and mapping providers, and other property-data sources. We use those facts with QuoteAmigo models to prepare interior and exterior dimensions, room and work-area information, and other property context for the professional to review.
Property records and modeled dimensions may not reflect recent renovations, additions, field conditions, access restrictions, or every feature of a property. The professional controls the final scope, measurements, quantities, and price.
How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the QuoteAmigo service, account, property lookup, measurement, quote, approval, appointment, payment-request, and reminder workflows.
- Process task-specific requests with automated systems and artificial intelligence so QuoteAmigo can organize property and job information and prepare useful responses.
- Authenticate users, preserve conversation context, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems, and secure the service.
- Improve our models, workflows, usability, reliability, and performance using information that we are permitted to use.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, and maintain required consent and opt-out records.
WhatsApp And Meta
QuoteAmigo uses WhatsApp Business services provided by WhatsApp and Meta. When you communicate with QuoteAmigo through WhatsApp, your mobile number, messages, files, and related message information are processed through those services and are also subject to the applicable WhatsApp and Meta terms and privacy policies.
QuoteAmigo will initiate WhatsApp communications only after receiving the mobile number and the permission required for the applicable messages. We use WhatsApp communications for the property, quote, appointment, payment-request, reminder, account, support, and related service purposes described when permission is requested. We honor requests to stop or limit messages.
To stop QuoteAmigo messages, ask us to stop in the WhatsApp conversation or use WhatsApp’s block and reporting controls. To request human support, ask for a person in the QuoteAmigo WhatsApp conversation.
Payments
QuoteAmigo helps a professional communicate a payment request and display the professional’s selected Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or cash instructions. QuoteAmigo does not process, hold, transfer, or verify the payment. A provider-link click is not proof that payment occurred; only the professional can confirm receipt in QuoteAmigo.
How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate QuoteAmigo, including WhatsApp and Meta, hosting, cloud, address and mapping, property-data, analytics, security, customer-support, and communications providers. A customer who chooses a displayed Venmo or PayPal link leaves QuoteAmigo and uses that provider under the provider’s own terms.
We may share a quote, appointment, payment request, or job information with the customer or recipient selected by the professional. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.
QuoteAmigo does not sell personal information. We do not sell or share mobile numbers, WhatsApp opt-in information, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their independent marketing or promotional use. We do not forward one customer’s WhatsApp conversation to another customer.
Retention And Security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and quote history, resolve disputes, secure the service, satisfy accounting or legal obligations, and document consent or opt-out requests. Retention periods vary by the type of record and why it is kept.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices, Access, And Data Deletion
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your QuoteAmigo use, subject to legal exceptions and records we must keep for security, accounting, dispute resolution, or opt-out compliance.
To request deletion, send “Delete my QuoteAmigo data” in your QuoteAmigo WhatsApp conversation. If you contact us from a different number, include the mobile number associated with your QuoteAmigo account so we can verify the request. You may also use the support contact shown in the QuoteAmigo WhatsApp business profile. We will confirm the request, verify identity when necessary, and explain when deletion is complete or when limited records must be retained.
Children And U.S. Privacy Rights
QuoteAmigo is a business service and is not intended for children under 18. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights to know, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information. You may submit those requests using the deletion and support instructions above.
